All hell is breaking loose in India.  Terrorists have attacked several locations throughout Mumbai and are currently holding hostages at two hotels and one hospital and are engaging the Indian military.  They are specifically targeting people with American and British passports (i.e. us) and one assumes white people.

It is with sadness that we will not be flying to Mumbai on Friday.  Instead we will remain in Los Angeles for at least 4-5 weeks, if not longer.  We will definitely be around for the holidays. We are currently weighing our options and trying to decide what our future plans will be.

We are anxiously watching the news for more information and are keeping the people of Mumbai in our thoughts.

The long dark night is over and the future is full of hope. Many times over the five years that it has taken Jenn and I to prepare for our travel abroad have we mused that if our country doesn’t get its act together we just might not come back. What a glorious gift has been bestowed upon us by our countrymen that we can now travel with our heads held high.
